SHIP “Born” was the album released on Polydor records in the early eighties. ‘Night in the neighborhood’ and ‘Long Days’ made it to No.1 in South American charts as well as some USA Universities, whilst ‘Cali girls’ and ‘Looking for adventure’ along with “Always in time” on some AOR stations, made the Top Ten.

The style ranges between straight-ahead Rockn’roll and Progressive Rock.
Jorge sings most vocals and plays most guitars and keyboards, with Joe Galdo on drums, Nacho Pilonieta on bass guitar, and Alexei and Mario Restrepo on guitar and drums respectively, along with Sergio Becerra on sax on ‘To a Brother’.


Featuring Jorge Barco on lead vocal, keyboards and guitars, Nacho Pilonieta on Bass, Alexei Restrepo on guitars, Joe Galdo on drums (except in No more games to play and Feel you near me), Mario Restrepo on drums (except in No more games to play and Feel you near me) and Sergio Becerra on Saxophone.

The album was co-produced with Joe Galdo, Mario Sarasti and Enrique Gaviria, with the assitant engineering of Mono Levy and Jerry Thichava.
